last week, kinda sleepy and a bit late, I went to the launch of the new L’Oreal summer products and for a special announcement. I’ll start with the announcement, which I’m sure you know about already, the lovely & uber talented Andra Manea is the new L’Oreal Romania official makeup artist. How cool is that? Andra is super nice and I love her work. Plus, she gave me a couple of tips when I tried the novelties.
Ehhm, as you can see I tried to do a video with the new products, it’s in only in Ro. Ok, I didn’t only try, I actually did the video. Let me tell you that I find this youtube thingy super hard, especially when it comes to beauty. Buut hey, I’m trying over here.
So, the new stuff:
My absolute favorite is the [highlight]Brow Artist Maker[/highlight], brow crayon with a unique kabuki brush for full, volumised, festival-ready brows. It’s ahhhmazing, super easy to use. The crayon fills your eyebrows and the kabuki brush gives them a natural look.
Then the [highlight]two Color Riche lip palettes[/highlight], nudes & reds, each with 6 shades. The shades are gorgeous and the packaging, ohh, the packaging is super luxe. They come with a little lip brush and again, super easy to apply. Creamy formula that doesn’t dry up your lips.
[highlight]The Miss Hippie mascara[/highlight], reminds a bit of the Miss Manga one and I’m a big fan of Miss Manga. It does what it promises, aka lots of volume, I didn’t use it too much. I like my mascaras a bit dry, so I’ll have to wait & use it more often.
The [highlight]La Palette makeup palette [/highlight]- beautiful rose & nude shades, very pigmented & my makeup resisted all day without any primer. So yeah, you should try it. The smokey version is coming soon.
And then there is the [highlight]Vernis a L’Huile nail polishes[/highlight] which come in super cute bottles. I have bio gel on my nails right now, I didn’t have the chance to try the nail polish, but my girlfriends all tell me that L’Oreal nail polishes are great and I trust them.
