Silviu Tolu for Guess Fall 2010 Campaign

*Probably, now I’m swimming or enjoying the sun rays, or if I have bad luck the rain*

So, Silviu Tolu is romanian male model, I first saw him on the cover of Elle Man, and how I’m really interested in men stuff I forgot about him.He’s around 19 and just finished high school.
A couple of weeks ago, I went with one of my best friends for her to apply for another college, and then in the hallway we had a chat, it went something like that:

F: I saw Silviu!!!
Me: Silviu who was in our highschool?
F: Nooo, Silviu the one with dark hair and blue eyes!!!
Me: Huh?! Be more specific!
F: Silviu Tolu…
Me:???*crikets in the background*
……after a couple minutes……
F: Silviu who was on the cover of Elle Man!!
Me: Why didn’t say that from the start…

I saw him eventually, but if I didn’t know who he was I wouldn’t have noticed him, he’s so different in reality.My friend has an eye for male models.

After that we went to my college for me to see some grades, and there he was again, I think he thought that we we’re stalking him ( my friend was stalking him), he looked at her/us with a strange face. He was so down to earth waiting in the line to pay his registration tax, you wouldn’t guess that he walked for Damir Doma
Now, I just thought it was funny or I’ve been drinking to much wine this evening. Though, my friend is a model stalker:)
Let’s get back to the serios stuff, eventhough I don’t like Guess stuff in particulary, love the campaign, it has that retro vibe, it’s like a sexier Mad Men and Silviu kinda reminds me of James Dean. Don’t you think so?
