I never had my picture drawn or painted for that matter, even though I’m a big fan of illustrations. Ehhm, I’m lying, there were some not so flattering sketches from different events which I don’t actually count.
Well, when Alex asked me if I’d like a portrait drawing, my response was “Yaaassss! Please”! Seriously, who wouldn’t? He is a super talented artist and has the cutest pug, Pixel, whom I’m going to steal one day for pictures… shhh, don’t tell.
He asked me what I’d prefer and I said to go with the flow and do whatever he wants as he knows better than me. And that’s how I ended up fishes instead of hair, looking great btw, like a modern siren or something like that. Don’t wanna write all the jokes that come into my mind, ’cause probably someone is going to report me, ha!
Moving forward, because once again I am rambling, besides drawings & paintings, Alex does tattoos too, pretty cool ones, you can check out his entire portfolio on AlexMilea.com or stalk him on facebook, come on, stalk him on facebook, go ahead! Aaaaa, and almost everyday he live streams his drawing / painting process on twitch.com/pennywise988.
I think commissioning a portrait for a loved one would make a perfect gift! There’s something special in them, plus its more personal & thoughtful than a perfume or a piece of jewelry.
For example, my momma is going to get a tattoo for Mother’s Day, she wants one for such a long time! Yes, my mom is that kind of mom, hahaha.
Anyway, go check out Alex’s portfolio and hit him up for a custom piece!
Wow, your portrait si simply gorgeous 🙂 You have a very talented friend!
Fashionably,
Patricia
