I’m just sitting here all dark and gloomy, just like the weather, thinking about pretty dresses to wear in the near future.
I do have a wedding that I have to attend this weekend but I’ll dress low key and not go all shiny & what not. Browsing around looking for inspiration, ’cause I really have to pass this hobo period I’m in ( boyfriend jeans, loose tops and sneakers ), came across three very lovely lace dresses, yes, black, let’s not get ahead of ourselves, I’m still on the dark side.
Recently realized there’s no lace dress present in my wardrobe, which is peculiar and not, at same time; lace has a dear place in my heart but, then again, if you don’t pick a certain type of dress it can be look kinda cheap. Hopefully you know what I mean because I will not go into further details.
The first beauty is a Whistles lace shirt dress from House of Fraser. I think it would be great for office days and for fancy evenings also.
Now I find this lace and taffeta dress from Comme des Garçons absolutely marvelous… Maybe the cool styling has to do a bit with it. Would you wear it this way? I think I would…
This last dress, Arcadia in black from Zimmermann ( here you can find it on white too ) has a goddess feel to it, don’t you think so?
Though, I think it looks great, it wouldn’t suit my body type.
