When was the last time you made a compliment to a girl?
Now, it’s only fair I answer too… So, I complimented a girl last evening, on her dance moves! Yeah, I know how that sounds but nevermind.
Last week, Braun and Jessica Alba, the new brand ambassador, launched the #breakfree campaign inviting women from around the world to support each other by writing messages of appreciation and encouragement. The main goal of the initiative is to help women to feel better and boost their self confidence. A study revealed that appearances judgments among women is a key factor of developing a low self esteem. Which is fairly logical but not ok, so ladies, instead of judging, start complimenting and #breakfree.
This complimenting part, is quite touchy because not many women make compliments and very few of them actually believe them. But you know, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t say nice things to people.
