When was the last time you entered a Marks & Spencer store? For me, it was a couple of months ago, their basic collection of t-shirts, cardigans & co is simply amazing. My favorite striped tee, and my very first one if I may add, came from them. Wore it two, three years without any problems, it was featured on the blog several times. Though, I’m pretty sure I told you I love their basics line before.
What about their other collections? Sincerely, I never browse the store entirely, will do it next time. Why now? One reason would be their lingerie line with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, damn she’s gorgeous and the pieces too.
The other one, I do love the new campaign they just rolled out divided in five major trends: White Out, Worldwide, Pretty Things, Paint Box and 90’s Luxe.
In addition to the collaborations & a clear change in design aesthetics, Marks & Spencer revamped their site also, as they put it: brighter, bolder, better. The same goes for their whole new direction, so yeah, going to keep an eye on them from now on.
White out – minimal approach to design, clean lines and chic details…
Worldwide: graphics, proportion play and casual elegance. I’m not the biggest fan of flower prints in general, but the above dress looks smashing.
Pretty things counts on a romantic mix of textures and patterns, with an extra touch of femininity.
Paint box, well, subtle color blocking…
Aaaand my favorite of them all, 90’s Luxe goes for the sartorial elegance of the 90’s, hence the name! I’m lusting over the above dress/vest, isn’t it exquisite?
Mixed my two favorite trends into a slightly casual attire for everyday businesses.
Everything Marks & Spencer!
Zipped Front Blouse // Pleat Front Trouser // Outerwear Deep V-Neck Coat with Wool // Mini Satchel Bag // Best of British Leather Brogues
All the pieces are available in stores and online!
Besides the dress/vest, I can’t find it online… Need to visit the store asap!
