5 essential fall 2013 lipsticks

A couple of my favorite trends for lips this fall. They are mostly variations of burgundy, a bit of pink and one the biggest trends I observed going through the beauty shots of the shows, nude lips… Which is awesome, because in those certain mornings or when you are really in a hurry and you don’t have time to properly apply your lipstick ( guilty here ), you can go for nude lips and still be “trendy”. 

Another thing that I observed, and heard at MAC fall trends presentation a couple of months ago, is the absence of lip liner and the rise of textured lips, if not a bit distressed. No, not in lady of night manner! 

Also, two tone lips in the same color palette, see Diana Moldovan at the Dior show, I’m really digging this fall lips trend but it’s a bit hard to obtain, well if you aren’t skilled, like me:)

If you are a die hard fan of hot pink lips, you don’t want to go with two tone, try a more polished variation on the shade, like this one from Chantecaille.
