Ladies, I’m perfectly aware that there’s more than one month to go until Christmas but I cave into it. Christmas in my eyes…:)
The shops started to put up the decorations and the lights, pinterest and tumblr is full of DIYs and I found these pretty types of upholstery and curtain fabric. So, yeah, it’s the season to be jolly! I’ve been told that I’m in a really suspicious good mood…
I know this post should go on DailyDreamDecor but seriously, I think that gorgeous fabric would go well with dresses too, don’t tell you can’t see a dress from the Moon Buffalo upholstery fabric, first one. I do, and it’s 100% wool so imagine how cozy that dress would be on cold winter days.
Come on, don’t laugh, I do know a couple of local designers that use upholstery and curtain fabrics for their pieces, and they do quite well for themselves.
You know, eco-friendly faux fabrics and wallpapers featuring leather, suede, sea grasses, wild animal hides and reptile skins are a popular choice right now. If you want to see more samples and a couple of awesome swatches of designer wallpaper, clicky here to do so.
Also, I’m letting you know that next week will start the gift guides, hopefully, more seriously this year, I have a couple of ideas, but more on that later.
And somebody really used this tweed oxblood fabric, Denisa? Do you remember the dress SJP wore here: http://tartanblog.scotlandshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/alexander-mcqueen-sarahjp.jpg? Yes, it is Alexander McQueen, the one and only 😉
@fashionsensitive: How one could forget it? But I'm not talking about the pattern but the actual upholstery fabric:)
Ooh, I love these fabrics. They instantly make me feel warm and cozy just looking at them!
