A few days ago this beautiful photograph by Irving Pen popped up on my tumblr dashboard, just another girl biting her pearls; I find it so inspirational… And because pearls are timeless, let me introduce you to Winterson, they specialise in luxury classic and contemporary pearl jewellery.

Pearls come in different types, freshwater pearls, South sea pearls, Tahitian pearls, Akoya pearls, you name it, Winterson has a wide range of gorgeous pearls, you just need to pick your favorite.
I’m torn between Japanese Akoya pearls and South Sea ones, though I’m inclining to go for the Akoya ones because of their delicate white shades with pink overtones and glowing, but they are for young brides to wear on their wedding day and for bossy business ladies. On the other hand, South Sea pearls have a golden shade which makes them perfect for evening jewellery. Tough choice…
These are three of my favorites from Winterson, they have reasonable priced items and very expensive ones, now can you guess which one costs a lot?
I don't own any pearls… I should change that.

I love pearls. I used to wear them all the time a couple years back but now that my jewelry collection is bigger I don't wear them as much. They're still a great basic accessory, though. And super classy.
