Yesterday I posted so late because I went coat hunting with a friend, not for me but for her. She just wanted a simple, cozy black coat for cold winter days. Did she find anything? Of course not.
I do wonder, why make winter coats if they are too ‘thin ’ and more appropriate for fall, the temperatures are low and in a couple of days it will be colder, so there’s a need for winter clothes. You might say I’m crazy, but last winter was so freakin’ cold, and even in late October and start of November we had really cold weather. Nevertheless, this year I’m packed and ready for the blizzard.
Rewind now, we went to a couple of stores and we didn’t find anything decent, many of the pretty coats we saw were expensive and the quality didn’t match the price.
My friend ended up with nothing and I ended up dreaming of a red coat.
