…without looking tacky…
I’m gonna honest, I’ve always associated leopard print with a certain type of person, but fashion and stylish people proved me wrong. Here, there’s a big labeling people thingy going on, and it’s hard not jump the wagon, for me right now it’s, I like it or not. No more labels people!
Moving on, the first person I saw wearing leopard print very good was Mina@Faboulista, if you want to see proffesional print mixing go over and visit her blog. After that, on a sunny afternoon I fell in love with Ioana’s Steve Madden flats when we met for a chat. What I’m gonna buy next? Probably a scarf or flats, because I don’t think I can pull leopard print of like Mina does.

So, this how I would wear leopard print.

love the wedges
i love these looks! i love leopard print myself, and i have both flats and a scarf, as well as a faux fur jacket… but i totally agree with you, it has to be worn the right way to avoid looking tacky or cheap..
Look #1 is my fave! Love love.
2,3 si 4 imi plac enooorm. 1-le nu e chiar my thing.
Eu am doar o esarfa si o bluzita cu imprimeu de leopard si imi plac.
Pana nu demult eram si eu impotriva lor, dar daca sti cum sa le porti, arata chiar f bine.
Great outfits. Love the 1st one.:)SarahD
I'm really into the look and those wedges in the first picture are AMAZING!

These are all lovely looks, definitely a world away from the stereotypical "leopard print" kind of person.
I love those flats, definitelyy look into getting some leopard print flats
love the shooes.
i don't really like leopard print for myself. but i will say that #1 and #4 are great because if i did wear leopard print, it would probably be on my shoes.

I agree leopard prints can too easily look tacky, but these looks are great! I am in love with those leopard print wedges in the first look! And all these looks are great!

you are so right! We really have to mix it up!
I really am not a fan of leopard print but you made it look good in these looks…even I would think of wearing it in these combinations. Nice job!
these are great! tackiness with animal prints is def a fine line 🙂
Am vazut de curand, la d&g parca,ca se poarta printul asta cu polka dots black & white, don't know…nu-mi pare prea marfa :))
i love ur outfits though :X
i LOVE
xoxo
wow nookie thx for the amazing compliment and for the feauture i am so happy u like how I wear my leopard print. unlike u i have always loved animal prints. i think they are a classic and they always look great. i think the trick to wearing animal prints is to stay away from sexy looks.its already such a statement, that your clothes shouldnt be too revealing or too tight. and u should alwasy pair it with something a bit more of the conservative side. but i think starting with some accesories is a great way to get into the idea. once u are comfortable with it u can add actual big pieces and even wear a full oufit ( aka a dress)
xoxo
