I saw the sketches a couple of time ago and I’ve waited for the line, now that a preview is available all I can say that they are cute, not quite in a good way. I don’t think that Madonna and Lourdes designed these, more like the Macy’s design team. I’m in a bitchy mood lately, maybe there would be better items in the actuall collection.

I really actually like some of these items (the dress? The heels? the bag?), but you're right. They definitely seem Macy's piloted and it's laughable that they want to compete with forever21! Haa!!

I actually was looking forward to seeing what this line would be like since Madonna and her daughter Lourdes are supposedly both a part of the creative process. I must say some of the clothes actually look much like what her daughter was photographed wearing mixed with current trends and Madonna-like influences. Still, all in all its not very impressive. Now I imagine Madonna lends her name to a lot of stuff she doesn't actually make herself, but since she does lend her name to this junior line I would have expected it to be a bit more creative. Although lets be honest, what can we expect of someone who had plenty of "what was she thinking"- moments in her day.
