Gold is definitely back, I also had sort of an aversion to gold for the longest time but since I found my dream medallion at Millefiori (http://personalizedfashion.blogspot.com/2010/01/my-dream-medallion.html)and managed it pair it with my gold necklaces I wear it almost daily.
