There’s a lot of controversy regarding Cate Blanchett Oscars’s 2011 dress, polls, commentaries, forum threads… Most of them negative, but really, I find her choice simply marveleous. The Givenchy dress is gorgeous, and suits her so well. Lovely pale lilac, intricate beading and delicate chiffon, what not to love?
Nowadays, taking a risk or being different is not permitted anymore…For me, Cate Blanchett was the best dressed at the Oscars!

I had mixed feelings about the dress but it is definitely unique and stunning (didn't love the touch of yellow). I didn't realize it was lilac until I saw the close up!

Yes! Cate was Best Dressed for me too. I loved that she went high fashion and it paid off. She can wear anything she's so stunning.
