A little review of the L’Oreal True Match foundation

Last week I received 10 shades of the new L’Oreal True Match foundation, to find #mytruematch. It was a little funny coincidence as I was on the lookout for a new foundation and wanted to test a couple more for a dedicated video on the best foundations for dry skin.

So, before the video will appear, I need to test a couple more foundations, I thought to give a little breakdown and initial thoughts on the True Match foundation.

First of all, I have dry skin and kinda reactive, I instantly react to products if they aren’t suitable for my skin, which was not the case with True Match. The products advertises itself to fit every skin type, which is a little tricky, but skin didn’t reacted to it.

The coverage is light to medium, but buildable and it doesn’t look cakey if you apply it in two layers, especially if you lock it in with a good face powder. It resists around eight – ten hours without any touchup, then, if you to retouch a bit especially on the cheeks and chin areas.

The shades are divided in three categories by the undertone of your skin, warm ( yellow ), cool ( rose ) or neutral, so it can match your skin perfectly.

All in all it’s a good every day foundation and quite comfortable.

Video soon to follow.
