My Braun Summer Ritual and 3 Things I Learned From My Bff

This post is sponsored by Braun.
After about an hour in front of the computer and three coffees later (rough night, darlings), I finally started to write this article once more. Hopefully this time it will go smoothly and I won’t delete it again…
The lovely team at Braun invited me and Miss Koko to do a fun project together & try a couple of their products. Two of which, I’ve been using for some time, Braun Silk Epil 9 and Braun Face.
Absolutely love Silk Epil 9, told you about it a couple of  months ago too, the new Braun Silk-epil 9 Wet & Dry Cordless Epilator comes with a 40% wider head  for faster epilation and MicroGrip tweezer technology – It covers more skin with each stroke for a faster epilation process and an improved beauty routine. The improved tweezer geometry removes more hair in one stroke, even the shortest hair (0.5mm) that wax cannot catch.
This made us think about our friendship which exceeded the blogging barriers long time ago.
I’m extremely grateful to have Koko in my life and call her one of my bffs, she’s such a caring & loving soul, sometimes a little too much for my nature but we manage it.  Yes, I just said that Koko, you know what I’m talking about.

3 things I learned from my bff

  1. That I have to face my fears, get out my comfort zone and deal with emotional stuff. Certain confrontations are hell for me, hell, anxiety takes over instantly and I can’t find my words. Buuuut, I’m getting there… I didn’t take the exam on this one, ha!
  2. That in order to grow as a person you need to let go of toxic people in your life, it is best for everybody, really, for everybody.
  3. That sometimes, pizza holds all the answers. If you don’t agree, you didn’t have the right kind of pizza.

As for our summer ritual, mine is quite simple, though I’m pretty certain that Koko’s ritual is far more complicated.
For me, is very important to take care of my face and properly remove the makeup and impurities accumulated throughout the day so Braun Face is more than perfect for the task. Braun Face lets you enjoy two treatments with one device, just simply switch attachments.

Precisely remove facial hair by the root with the facial epilator or cleanse skin pore deep with the facial brush. Ehhm, I didn’t use the epilator part of it, but the brushes are magnificent and they just launched a couple of new ones, Extra Sensitive for delicate skin, Exfoliating for deep cleansing and Sponge for applying your foundation, quite clever this one.

A great tip, I might have told you this one before, use thermal water, thermal water is amazing, freshens your skin while adding a little extra hydration.

Yes, yes, Koko braids my hair from time to time ‘cause besides blow drying it and straightening it, I can’t do anything else. Awww, I’m lying, I can do the twist and tuck hairdo too.
The dryer  has three heat settings and two airflow settings for flexible drying and styling. And with its elegant and pure white design the Braun Satin-Hair 3  dryer adds style to effortless results.

During summer I wash my hair almost every day and it’s a must to have a good dryer.

Last but not least, I apply heavy amount of uva protection, like a crazy person.

Ok, now I need to go and start packing for Amalfi. Don’t forget to check Koko’s Summer Ritual and 3 things she learned from her bff.
