Tips For Accessorizing

Fashion is an integral part of looking good but everyone knows that accessories can either break or make an outfit so it’s important that you choose the best accessories for not only your outfit but also the occasion.  There are a few good things to keep in mind when you’re trying to accessorize your outfit in smart but fashionable ways.
Your bag is going to be one of the largest and most noticeable accessories you’re adorning so make sure it’s a good one.  Adding one of the many versatile Longchamp bags to your outfit will not only give it a nice sophisticated appeal but it’s also going to your most practical accessory.  You can choose one of their brightly colored bags to add a little pop to your outfit or stick with one of the darker staples that go with pretty much everything.
More often than not, the jewelry you wear should be subtle yet fashionable.  The best jewelry you can wear right not for any outfit and any occasion is that made of chrome or gold.  It’s enough to give your look a beautiful feminine touch without it becoming overbearing or taking away from the rest of the outfit.  Plus, chrome and gold are very trendy right now, which means you’ll be doing your entire ensemble a huge favor.
One of the best ways accessories can be used is to help give your outfit a nice pop of color, but don’t go overboard and try to keep your colorful accessories to something practical.  When you add in color just for the sake being colorful, it stands out and it can usually drastically take away from the rest of your clothing, which is the exact opposite of what you want from an accessory.
Keep your colorful accessories in line with what you’re already wearing such as pairing a pink bracelet with a pair of pink heels or adding in a gold bag with some gold jewelry.  While adding color to your outfit is generally a very good thing, if it doesn’t match the rest of what you’re wearing, you’d be better off not wearing it at all.

Make sure your accessories are appropriate for the occasion.  Your heels might look great on the dance floor but they probably aren’t the best thing for a kid’s soccer game.  If you’re dying to accessorize but you need to be low-key, try utilizing jewelry and scarves instead.  They both go great with almost every outfit and they’re casual enough to be worn pretty much anywhere.
How your nails look will generally draw attention and many times your nails are considered a part of your accessory bundle as well.  Make sure your nails look good (although keep in mind that they should be practical for where you are and what you’re doing; one inch nails at the office is probably a bad idea) and keep them in line with the rest of your outfit and accessories.  They’re also an easy way to add color to an outfit as well without going overboard.
Accessories are an important part of every outfit but only if you know how to use them.  They should complement your ensemble and not dramatically take it over; likewise, they should be able to function independently and if no one notices them, there’s no point.  Dress to impress and keep your accessories not only looking good but be smart about it.
