- Start by applying powder foundation to your lips. Lightly to even them out.
- Then, go around your lips with a sharp pencil liner.
- Use the liner to define your lip shape, then to fill in your lips as a base for lipstick. ( this helps color to stay on way longer )
- Next, put on your lipstick.
Fancy tricks
- Bloatting with tissue will help keep lipstick from smudging.
- Apply lipstick with a angled brush for a sharp dramatic look.
- Put a thumb between lips + press: this will keep lipstick from getting on your teeth.
- Dabbing loose transparent powder on lips then re-applying keeps lipstick matte + long lasting!
- Lip “stains” are a great option if you want color without the mess.
