Kenvelo’s Revival

Well, about two weeks ago I participated at the launch of the brand new Kenvelo collection. 

First, let me tell you that I had an obsession with Kenvelo in my teens, went almost every weekend but didn’t buy much because I didn’t have the money or they didn’t fit… ohh the memories… Still, I did love this brand  at one point, and it was one of the coolest back when I was in highschool.

Now,  Kenvelo went through a couple of changes, I won’t go far of to say rebranding, but they did shrug off  their old “clothes”, so I was invited, among other bloggers, to pick an outfit from their new collection. 

It took me less than 5 minutes to go for a straight leg pair of jeans,  striped shirt and sweater, as you can see above. The jeans fitted perfectly but for the sweater & shirt, I had to pick other sizes than my usual ones… history repeated.  Telling you this, so you don’t make twenty trips to the changing rooms  if  you want to try on some of their pieces.

About the quality, I didn’t wear the jeans yet but I practically lived in the sweater for a couple of days, washed it you guys, that’s how comfy & cozy the fabric is, and lazy am I. The shirt, that’s another story, the seam literally unstiched after, let’s say, 15 minutes. Needless to say that I was in Milan and didn’t have any needle & thread with me, so I rolled & rolled the sleeve… No more of those shirts for me:)

To wrap things up, design wise the new collection is a mix between preppy and casual but go to Kenvelo and see it for yourself.
