fancy prom look ideas

Hey lovelies, how was your day? I’ve just came home from  a special Rock of Ages screening, more details and a fun contest to come.

The last few days, I’ve been hunting for a prom dress, more online rather than offline, not for me, because I got mine a couple of weeks ago, but for a dear friend of mine. Other than the fact, that she doesn’t have a particular model in mind, there’s not enough time either. Hopefully, she/we will find one soon…
Lucky for me, I got the most perfect dress, and like said to Arina when I ordered it, ok let’s put it nice, I want to go with a bang:)
Remember my simple, really simple, little black dress which I wore to my high school prom? Well, the current dress is the total opposite but still,  a classic prom dress… and no, it doesn’t have major beading or anything similar.

Still, I thought it would be fun to put together a couple of fancy prom outfits, each featuring a diamond piece, again we need a bit of frost, don’t we?
My favorite would be the second one, I have a thing for printed dresses lately, and don’t tell me it’s not good for prom because it is!

Ok, so all the diamond pieces are from Anjolee, remember Anjolee? I posted about them last year too, well, they have just launched a diamond educational center, you can check it out right here.

Here are the prom outfit ideas, do tell, which one you fancy more?

J.Crew Lucienne one-shoulder silk-chiffon dress/ Carvela Assemble courts/ ALEXANDER MCQUEEN Box clutch/ Anjolee diamond hoops

J.Crew Ella strapless printed cotton-blend piqué dress/ Topshop Mint Hard Phone Purse/ Charlotte Olympia Bruce crepe-covered leather sandals minus the leopard heads/ Anjolee diamond stud earrings

Modcloth Flirty at the Fete Dress/  DIANE VON FURSTENBERG Lytton Small Basketweave Embossed Clutch/ Jimmy Choo Cosmic patent-leather pumps/ Anjolee diamond tennis bracelets
