With the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this year, designers are going mad for all things regalia, including, normally Alexander McQueen. If you are not familiar with the Diamond Jubilee, well it is an international celebration throughout 2012 marking the 60th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth II to the throne.
Alexander McQueen’s spring summer 2012 styles still pay homage to the skull designs that the house is famous for, but with a right royal twist!!
All the pieces in the collage can be found on harrods.com, they do carry a wide range of Alexander McQueen accessories but this time I went only for scarves and boxy clutches.
Though the skull scarves are universally popular, my favorites from the collage are the Britannia skull box clutches, especially the greige one, just gorgeous!

Queen Elizabeth will be the most prestigious and fashionable queen of all history if it happened that McQueen was her fashion designer. Their royalties will be more respected in terms of power , production and culture.
