The thrifting diaries

Today was a rather chilly day , gloomy at least, my kind of weather so a trifting trip was in order. You know I love thrifting! Still, this isn’t a post of my latest thrifting finds more like what I’ve let go, because yes, I don’t buy every “treasure” I find. For example, today, I found a pair of Cavalli jeans, but I swear they were so ugly that even if they were given to me for free I wouldn’t take it. Imagine a pair of jeans that looks like grey wooden floors, not that is something wrong with wooden floors but they don’t look so good as a print.

I sometimes give up pieces in favor of friends but the only piece I regret the most is a Chanel J12 Superleggera watch, though not actually thrift because I found it at a used watches stand besides another pretty watch, a vintage Cartier. Back to the Chanel watch, the fun part is that I actually bought it, at a ridiculous price that I actually thought it’s a fake, a very good one by the way because I studied it a while, but it was really worn so I blamed the price on that. Paid the watch, walked three meters and then realize that I didn’t try it on, it struck me, the watch was so cheap and unsold because it was really small, it kinda fitted me but every time I’d wear it my hand would’ve gone blue. Such, such a pity…

Any thrifting stories?
