Last week we had cropped tops, now it’s time for feathers because you requested it, so let’s see how to wear feathers. Though, in matter of style, I associate feathers with bohemian tastes there is more to them than only boho chic.
Feathers are symbolic. In different cultural backgrounds and periods in history wearing feathers means more than a style choice but symbolizes truth, freedom, enlightenment, courage, protection, spiritual awareness, hope, and faith.
In my opinion, the best way to wear feathers is to create the entire outfit revolving around them, especially if they are the big, bold type because if you aren’t careful the whole ensemble will look costumy. I think nobody would love to look like they just came down of a theatre stage, am I right?
The most popular items are the feather accessories, and best way to wear them with a rather simple outfit, for example necklaces look good with tank tops & cami tops, earrings with flowy blouses and so on.
