Another trend that I really like this season, besides the 70’s trend, is color blocking. Color blocking can be a little tricky, the main idea is to mix colors that match but also, contrast. You want to pop out from the crowd but in a good way, we don’t want to hurt anybodies eyesight, do we?
Last week when I wore this outfit, I did get a lot of looks, and people actually asked me why I’m dressed so colorful. So, be prepared if you want to jump the color blocking bandwagon.

Also, wearing bright colors that are too matchy matchy isn’t a good idea either, or wearing ten colors at once… Color blocking can be achieved by mixing different bright colored clothes or by directly wearing “colorblock print items”.
Right now, Asos is having a Color Block feature, and I’m loving these belted peg leg trousers. Orange is all over the catwalk, but I’m not that courageous and I would get them in blue.
